You are in for a shock
when the first sentence that greets you on the Arrow Agency is "Welcome
to the Ukraine Marriage Agency from Kharkov." This is enough
to send any man running. If you are searching for marriage this
would be the site for you but tread carefully because further investigation
did not find any redeeming qualities about this site.
From its dull grey pallor and a home page featuring
broken English, the Arrow Agency left us perplexed and ill-informed.
However, we moved forward and visited the catalog page to ensure
a proper visit. Our spirits soared when we began to understand their
language and finally hit the profile page.
Yet again, we were slapped back to reality with
the rates they required. The basic package was a whopping $750.00!
We lost the shock, at first, when we further saw what was inclusive
of the price. The basic package included airport pick-up, nice accommodations,
sightseeing, introduction to ten lovely ladies and translation services.
Then we received the ultimate blow; reading the fine print. The
"all inclusive" package separates services for translation,
gifts, accommodations, meeting services and more. This is exorbitant
for any site.
However, the one impressive aspect of this site
is their proper display of information about the company itself
and the how-to's and what-if's section. All questions are not left
to chance when you open these links.
Selection of Ladies
There is good news and
bad news, depending on your perspective. If you find the offering
of several hundred profiles daunting then this site will work for
you, as there are approximately 100 women in the database. If you
wish to have a larger selection, then choose a different site. Most
of the women are decent-looking and the photos offer a touch a reality
that we found endearing.
Ease of Use
The most praiseworthy note of the Arrow Agency
is the good navigational features. A visitor is sure to find browsing
the site without hassle and finding relevant information easy.
Rating
Our star rating is three out of ten. While the
site is properly maintained and offers a good, yet small, collection
of ladies profiles, the design leaves much to be desired. Apart
from the improper English the navigational features are also a plus.
However, the prices for services need to be equal to the value offered.
